Stir Fry Shrimp
Stir Fry Shrimp is another easy recipe that I like to cook frequently. Not only is it easy, it is also healthy. If you are a 100% vegetarian,
you can omit the shrimp.
Ingredients
broccoli florrets
carrots
shrimp
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 thickly sliced onion
Method
I like to buy my vegetables already cut up, this allows me to complete this dish very quickly.
If you buy your vegetables uncut, cut the broccoli in florrets and the carrots in slim slices horizonitally or vertically, its your choice.
Season your shrimp in your usual fashion.
In a frying pay, add the olive oil to hot. Add the vegetables and season with salt and black pepper. What I do next is to cover the
pot and lower the fire. Allow the vegetables to cook but you don't want them over cooked. I like to have a little crunch in my vegetables.
When they are almost done, add the shrimp, mix in with the vegatables. Cover the pot and let the ingredients simmer for about 2 minutes
and turn off the stove. That's it, ready to eat.
Stir Fry Shrimp can be served with either plain rice, pasta or eaten without any side dish.
