Spinach Salad
Spinach Salad is a very easy, healthy salad to make. I prepare this salad for dinner most evenings. It is soooo delicious!
If you are trying to lose weight, I recommend that you add this salad to your list of meals to prepare.
Ingredients
Half bag of baby spinach
1 tablespoon zesty salad dressing
1/2 cup feta cheese
1 diced tomato
sliced black olives
1 cups crotons
Method
The feta cheese - you can get this in crumbles or in in a block. Cut a piece of the block and then cut this piece into smaller pieces.
I like to use the Italian Feta Salad Dressing because the calorie content is very low about 70.
In a mixing bowl, put the baby spinach, cheese, olives, crotons and the other ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Thats It. Serve.
You can be very creative and add beacon strips, or chicken breasts. Occasionally I would buy the seasoned,cooked chicken breast in the
grocery and I would just add a few strips to my salad. If you are vegetarian, you can add two boiled eggs (to get your protein)
I like to use the black olives because they are not very salty and they add a different colour to the salad. Enjoy!!!
