Peera is an Indian sweet meat; it is a soft fudge that’s made on special occasions such as the Hindu festival of Diwali, the birth of children, weddings, etc

3lbs Flour
1lb or 2 sticks of butter
2 cans of condensed milk
1/4 can of cold milk
1 cup of water
Oil for frying

Sugar Syrup
3 lbs of Sugar
6 cups of water

Knead flour, butter, cold milk and water until if forms a dough. Roll out until very thin and cut into tiny cubes. Fry in hot oil until light brown. Grind into a very fine powder. Put the powder into a large bowl and add condensed milk.

For sugar syrup, combine sugar and boiling water and stir until it forms a thick syrup. Add sugar syrup to powder and condensed milk and turn until mixture combines. Set in dish and cut into squares.
