Yams Smothered in Coconut Cream
I prepared this dish on 19th August 2009 and my family loved it so much, including me that I cooked it the next day. I cooked enough so
that we could all have second servings.
This dish - Yams Smothered in Coconut Creme is my recipe of the week!!!
Ingredients
1 can coconut milk
1 pepper
groud provision of your choice, eg. Tanya, yams
3 cups of Flour to make dumplings
6 mini corn on the cob
Method
In a large deep put put 4 cups of water, add the can of coconut milk, pepper and corn and put the pot on the stove for the coconut milk and water
to boil. Cover the pot.
While that is going on, peel and cut up the Ground Provision into small pieces. Mix the flour for the
dumplings. Uncover the pot and add some blended herbs, garlic powder, salt.
Add the cut up provision.
Roll the dough into small dumplings and put into the pot. Cover pot.
After everything has cooked and the sauce is nice and thick, turn off the stove. Serve! You are going to absolutely this dish.
