Carilley Chow Carilleys Carilleys after cleaning the white stuff of the center of the wheels Carrots, Onions, Carilley, Peppers and Salt mixed up before putting them in bottles

2 medium sized carilleys sliced
1 large onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 large carrot
pepper sauce or 1 hot pepper
salt

Slice carilley and clean the seeds from the center of the wheels before using them. Place sliced carilley in a bowl and add 1/2 tsp of salt with 1/4 cup of water, and let soak for about 10 minutes. This is to extract some of the bitter flavor of the carilley. Cut carrots and onion into bite size quarters; Slice garlic. Mix vegetables with pepper sauce or pepper and add salt to taste. Place chow into a jar add some water just to cover the vegetables, and let marinate for about 1 week.
This chow can be used in place of pepper sauce while eating your dish.
