Baked Potato
Ingredients
6 medium size potatoes
grated cheese
coconut oil or olive oil
Method
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and place them in a baking dish. Sprinkle
them with some salt and olive oil or coconut oil, which ever one is
your preference. Some people do not like the taste of Coconut Oil.
Put your oven to hot, when it is ready, put the
baking dish with the season potatoes into the oven. Allow them to cook
for about 45 minutes. Check to see if they are ready by piercing each
potato with a fork. If the fork goes through the potato easily, then
they cooked thoroughly.
Do not turn off the stove. Remove the baking dish
from the oven and lightly cut each potato into a cross. Do not pierce
the potato right through to the bottom. Hold each potato at both sides
(you will have to use both hands) and slightly squeeze the potato
inward. Some of the potato
will squeeze out.
After you are done doing this to each potato,
sprinkle a bit of grated over each potato and then place the baking
dish with the cheesed potato back into the oven and allow the cheese to
melt for about 8 minutes.
This dish will go great with Baked
Chicken.
