Final Product
After kneading all the ingreadients together
Press balls into flat circle and place minced meat to the center
Fold circle from top to bottom, to make edges meet and seal edges by pressing them together lightly
1 cup of corn flour 1/2-3/4 cups of flour 1 tsp butter water a pinch of salt cooked minced beef Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Incorporate butter into mixture, then add water and knead into a ball. Leave to rest for about 10 minutes. After dough has rested, form it into lime size balls. Take each ball and press them using your hands, thinly, into circles. Place minced meat in the center of the thin dough, and fold it from top to bottom so the edges meet each other. Gently press the edges together to seal them so the filling would not ooze out while frying it. Heat oil in frying pan. When finished making the pocket filled pies, place them into hot oil and fry both sides until golden brown. Serve warm.
